About Finding Some Grace

Hi there! My name is Alissa Davis and I am so thankful you are here at Finding Some Grace. I hope you find encouragment, inspiration and maybe even some humor throughout these pages.

Finding Some Grace is about accepting who we are, growing into who we were made to be and learning to love ourselves and others through the process. When I first truly encountered God’s grace, I didn’t understand what I was experiencing.

Accepting grace (from God, other people or ourselves) can be incredibly difficult but in its true form, this gift sits and waits for us to be ready.

A Little More About Me

I’m a pastor a few years out of seminary.

I love to read a lot of different genres.

I relax by playing piano and video games.

Food is what I turn to for comfort more often than I should 🙂

Ice cream is easily my favorite food!

My husband exhibits grace in our marriage every day.

We love outdoor adventures. Biking, camping, hiking, exploring new places, etc.

There are over 150 boards games in our house.

I’m new to the blogging world and would love to connect with you and learn more about your life and experiences. Please leave comments and ask questions!
