Realizing we all have something to share

All of my life I have loved to read. I have read all kinds of things and learned so much from the perspective of various authors. Their voices have spoken into my life numerous ways. I find myself engrossed in whatever I read so much so that I can all but experience myself in the story. I have learned from authors female and male, mature and naïve, of many backgrounds and ethnicities who have written articles, plays, poems, biographies, short stories and lengthy novels. Finding Grace – A Story of New Beginnings

While studying Scripture with a couple of American pastors and a large group of Haitian church leaders, someone said, “Never stop reading until you find the hope; the grace.” He said this with such conviction that my perspective changed. In that moment, I genuinely believed that no story could be complete until the light is found. I began looking at everything around me differently. Broken relationships, tragic circumstances, the stories we tell. I started an ongoing mission of finding grace. I wanted this to be a dramatic transformation that I could not ignore.
